Visit the Giamarese shop, pick little fall-themed decorations to display around in your house, and since they’re all real, cook them once the season ends!

This weekend (10/28), I went to Giamarese Farm & Orchards, right here in East Brunswick. The farm is family-run, and they have a field full of apple trees to pick your own fresh apples from as well as a corn maze and a hayride. This place is (yet another) gorgeous date place. The entrance fee is $5, and once you get in, there’s a huge pumpkin patch you can pick from that leads to a few other fun spots. There is pony riding for younger kids, as well as a hayride and corn maze (both close at 5:00pm! So be sure to arrive well before then). There are numerous lines of varying apple trees, each of them bearing unique apples. One of my personal favorites was the Golden Crisp – perfect for baking because of its sour taste. Once you’re done picking apples and pumpkins, you can head down to the little barn to buy some of the farm’s fresh produce. Make sure to pick up a jug of some local apple cider, it was one of my main takeaways from this gorgeous farm.

I recommend checking out the farm for a nice day trip, and most importantly, be sure to have fun!
