Serve it, Smash it, Win it
Girls Tennis gets back into the swing of things with one tennis triumph after the other.

The 2021 East Brunswick Girls’ Tennis Team had another great season after winning the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament in September. The Lady Bears successfully moved past the quarterfinal rounds with ease, with a final win of 3-2, moving onto the semifinals. In the semi finalist round, they took another 3-2 win against Hillsborough. The team went on to win sectionals and Red Division overall with a score of 11-2. All together, they had a great season full of competition and camaraderie.
The girls make up a strong team that puts their all into every swing. Christina Steiner, a senior, said, “I had some injuries that temporarily held me back, but I was glad to be able to spend a wonderful season with an amazing team. It was inspiring to see how hard our team worked throughout the season.” The team continuously worked hard to represent East Brunswick, coming together and proving their integrity and dedication to the sport.
