Located on a path a little bit off of Beekman’s road, these vernal pools are home to the endangered salamanders. Every year, in order to preserve these salamanders, East Brunswick closes this road, to help these salamanders cross the road without worry of being run over by cars. If you want to check out these Vernal pools themselves, and maybe even find a salamander yourself, it’s just a short hike from your car!
