Two weeks ago me, and my friends went to the theater to watch the new Spiderman movie: “Spiderman Across the Spider-verse.” After watching the movie I can say that this movie is by far the best Marvel movie I have ever seen. “Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse” is a sequel to the movie “Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse,” which was released in 2018. This movie follows Miles Morales as he goes on an adventure with Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman across the multiverse, where he meets a new team of Spider-People known as the Spider-Society, led by Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099. Throughout the movie, we also see Spidermen from other universes, such as the PS4 game, the animated series, and the MCU.

Personal experience

I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10. Firstly, it impressed me with its outstanding visual effects. From the dynamic action sequences to the expertly crafted cinematography, each scene was meticulously planned and executed. “Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse” used six distinct animation styles for its various characters. Moreover, the animators expertly combined hand-drawn and computer-generated images to create a unique “2.5D” animation style. This sequel also boasts the largest team of animators ever assembled for a single film. As we left the theater, one of my friends couldn’t help but exclaim, “It’s truly the finest animation style I’ve ever witnessed in cinema.” The animation, however, wasn’t the only highlight of the movie. Throughout the film, they introduced many new characters from different spider verses while further developing the characters introduced in the previous movie: Gwen and Miles. In fact, one of my friends said that, “The inclusion of multiple characters directly adapted from the comic books gave the film a unique quality that sets it apart from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Conclusion

“Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse” is a masterpiece of animation and storytelling. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves Spider-Man, Marvel, or just a good adventure. It is a must-see movie that will leave you wanting more.
