1. Cutting your hair at home
Since quarantine, cutting your own hair at home has been easy and more efficient. Going to the salon to buy a $50 dollar haircut? Um, no thank you! Just grab a pair of craft scissors and a YouTube tutorial and get to it.

Isabella Laszlo, 12, has her older sister cut her bangs at home instead of going to the salon.

2. Claw Clips
Claw clips have made their return… why wouldn’t they? They can match and dress up any kind of outfit (bumming or elegant) and are an easy way to keep your hair out of your face during the day.

Alefiya Presswala, 12, says that she loves the clips because “unlike a hair tie, you don’t lose them easily and you can get them in so many styles and colors. They’re also a fun way to express yourself.”

3. The Middle Part
Middle parts are a big hit that shine a spotlight on the symmetry of a face. Especially today, guys are starting to rock the middle part that used to be a huge trend in the ‘90s.

Vincent Lee, 12, is excited the middle part is back and that he is part of the trend.

4. Darker Hair
Need a way to bring out your confidence and help your eyes stand out? Dying your hair darker is the way to go. People are watching others have this moment of brunette empowerment and want to experience it themselves.

Senior, Larissa Angelucci Ramos feels more confident in her darker hair. She says “at first I didn’t mean to dye it this dark, but then I wondered why I’ve never done it before.”

5. Curtain bangs
Curtain bangs get their name because of how perfectly a curtain frames a window, much like these bangs flawlessly frame your face. There is no better way to add volume and enhance your cheekbones than to follow this trend.
