Movie review
“Top Gun: Maverick,” starring Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, is a sequel to the 1986 movie “Top Gun”. The movie follows Maverick as he takes on a new role as a teacher to a group of air force graduates. The movie has received mostly good reviews with some critics praising its action sequences while others have praised its stunning visuals. The movie is also considered one of the best movies of 2022. Overall, it has been described as an enjoyable movie that gives people a sense of nostalgia while also bringing something new to the table.

Personal experience
Being an avid airplane enthusiast, I was initially very excited when I first heard about the movie’s release. Although I didn’t get to watch the movie in theaters, I was still blown away by the visuals and dog fights(When two fighter jets fight). While I did feel that the story was quite underwhelming and standard, the amazing cinematography and aerial stunts more than made up for this. I highly recommend this movie especially if you get the chance to watch this on the big screen. Overall I felt that this was one of my best movie experiences of 2022.
