Q: WHAT EXTRACURRICULARS HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN AT EAST BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL?

A: At EBHS, I have been a proud member of several clubs and sports teams including being the Vice President of both Student Council and National Honors Society. I also competed on the Mock Trial competition team last year as a witness, which was a really fun experience! In terms of athletics, I have been given the incredible opportunity to be one of the captains of both the varsity cheerleading and lacrosse teams.

Q: HOW HAS YOUR EBHS LACROSSE EXPERINCE SHAPED WHO YOU ARE AS A PERSON TODAY?

A: EBGLAX has taught me so much about leadership and consistency. After our season being cancelled sophomore year, I was very grateful to be granted the opportunity to be a team captain as a junior. Experiencing this new leadership role, while simultaneously adapting to a new group of teammates, taught me how to lead by example, and effectively unite a team towards a common goal. I felt as though it was important for me to always put forward my best effort, which taught me consistency within practice and games.

Q: WHAT DO YOU PLAN ON STUDYING IN COLLEGE NEXT YEAR? WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THIS DECISION?

A: I plan on double majoring in political science and philosophy. My interest in political science began in my sophomore year IPLE class where we studied politics and law, and I’ve continued my political education in the AP IPLE course this year. My interest in philosophy was sparked by Ms. Powers’ philosophy class that I took this year.
