“One obstacle that I have overcome is my lack of confidence. I started high school nervous about what other people would think about me and how I would be judged. Now, I don’t care what other people say about me, I know who I am and what I stand for. My friends will support me no matter what I choose to do and that’s all that matters.”

Q: WHAT EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY HAS MADE THE BIGGEST IMPACT ON YOU?

A: The most impactful extracurricular activity I am part of is The Clarion. I love writing as well as spreading my knowledge. Last year I wrote sports articles but this year I am the co-editor of the Sports section. I review article submissions and revise them to help each writer become their best self.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?

A: The accomplishment I am most proud of is student of the month in December 2020. I worked very hard with everything going on in the world, as well as my personal life. I was able to maintain my grades during a fully virtual junior year while also taking the SAT and ACT. I also began to tutor younger students in need of extra help while we were all virtual.

Q: WHAT IS AN OBSTACLE YOU HAVE OVERCOME IN YOUR TIME AT EBHS?

A: One obstacle that I have overcome is my lack of confidence. I started high school nervous about what other people would think about me and how I would be judged. Now, I don’t care what other people say about me, I know who I am and what I stand for. My friends will support me no matter what I choose to do and that’s all that matters.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER GOALS?

A: After college my goal is to become a sports announcer on ESPN or CBS. I want to thank EBHS for everything it has done for me the past 4 year and am excited for what the future holds.
