On November 23, the EBHS Choir and Folio club hosted an event called Coffee House where EBHS students were able to show off their various skills, such as singing, dancing, playing an instrument, and even magic tricks. It was the perfect opportunity for students to come together and share their talents within a close-knit community right before Thanksgiving break.

Emcee Reva Bahuguna (12) told the Hub: “I was so excited to see the amount of people that showed up. I always love seeing my friends in Choir perform and now we got to share that with other people at school, and it was really heartwarming.”

The attendees, who were given their choice of a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate upon admission, were just as excited as Reva.
Sophomore Amena Presswala said, “It was really cool to see my classmates get up in front of people they didn’t even know and just start performing. I didn’t even know some of them were into the arts.”
“The hot chocolate was really good too, “ she added with a smile.

A night filled with laughter and music, EBHS’s first Coffee House event was a huge success!

Keep an eye- or ear- out for more of EBHS’s lovely voices later in December during the holiday telegrams and check out @ebhschoir on Instagram for videos of some of the Coffee House performances.
