Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?
A: Watch different types of movies and play card/board games with my family or friends.
Q: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE AN INCOMING SOPHOMORE?
A: An agenda is always helpful and keeps you organized which keeps you on schedule even if you are doing school remotely.
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?
A: To major in Computer Science in New Jersey. Continue dance and hopefully have my dance graduation performance.
Q: WHAT HAS DANCE TAUGHT YOU IN LIFE?
A: Initially, I wasn’t too interested in practicing the basics, in my rush to just get to the “better” and more complex dances. This led me to forget some steps. I soon realized that dance taught me to take time to perfect and build a solid foundation which was needed to make me a great dancer for Bharatanatyam (a Indian classical dance form).
Q: WHAT IS SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO YOU THAT YOU FEEL GOES UNSPOKEN ABOUT?
A: Cultural diversity is important to me and it isn’t spoken about that much in school. If everyone learns about other cultures it teaches us about other perspectives around the world like different traditions, lifestyles, languages and fashion.
