East Brunswick’s Varsity Girl’s Soccer Team champions above other districts. Through collaboration, hard work, and practice, they are well on their way to making it to the NJSIAA finals.

This season has been going extremely well for the Girls’ Soccer Team, starting out with a victory streak against Oldbridge, Monroe, South Brunswick, Sayreville, and Point Pleasant Beach. Samantha Lederman, 11, a Varsity player, commented that “It is an honor that each one of gets to represent East Brunswick athletics and wear jerseys that say ‘Bears’ across the front.”

They’d go on to win 4 more games against Marlboro, Monroe, J.P Stevens and South Brunswick. It was against Watchung Hills that they’d meet their match, losing 0-2.” Our opponents push us to be the best and are high quality teams with talented athletes. That being said, I would place our team at the top,” Lederman stated.

It is no surprise that the EB Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team excels, as they reside in a district known for its excellence in the athletics. They are the best of the best, and have thoroughly demonstrated their skills in the 2020 Fall Season.
