EBHS Bear Hub

About

EBHS Bear Hub is an online publication produced and managed by the creative new course, EBHS Publisher’s Workshop. This split-department course earns students 2.5 credits in fine arts and English and is co-taught by Mrs. Roman and Mrs. Soder, allowing students the opportunity to learn about graphic design and journalism in one forum.  Students will learn 21st Century workplace skills and develop their writing, photography, and graphic design specialties while collaborating to contribute to Bear Hub and a more journalistic yearbook.

Bear Hub’s mission is to help make EBHS feel smaller and more connected by publicizing events and sharing the stories of the “People of EBHS.”  As our project grows we hope to give activities and students outside of the class even more opportunities to have a voice on the Hub.

Publisher’s Workshop and Bear Hub love to make connections around the school.  If you are a teacher, coach, club adviser, student-leader, or just a student who loves to write, please reach out.  The best way to connect is to stop by B23 period 12 or chat with Mrs. Soder, Mrs. Roman, or a student who takes Publisher’s Workshop.  We look forward to hearing your ideas and collaborating with you.
